Charlotte, North Carolina flooring contractors, alongside electricians and plumbers, are putting the final touches on a $13 million upgrade to an affordable housing complex in midtown Charlotte. More than 160 residents were relocated last year, and they're just now starting to move back in. The low income-housing complex received a $13 million facelift which included renovations to the apartments, hallways and plumbing and electrical systems. Officials say $6 million of the upgrade came from federal grants and stimulus money, $6 million came from the Charlotte Housing Authority, and $1 million came from the city of Charlotte. But aside from redoing the essentials, Charlotte floor installation experts also put in a gym, and the building will house a library and hair salon as well.
